Earl Hughbon Hinch, age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27. He was a deacon at Heartsway Baptist Church. He enjoyed bowling and gardening. He was a very giving man and a faithful Christian. Earl was married to the love of his life, Jeanette, for 26 years. He also served in the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ed and Della Mae (Bacon) Hinch.
He is survived by wife, Jeanette Hinch; son, Scott Hinch, of Columbus, Ohio; daughter, Kim (Hinch) Mays, of Columbus, Ohio; step-sons, Jeff Drinnen, and wife, Rinda, of Knoxville, and Greg Drinnen, of Knoxville; step-daughter, Cindy Connard, and husband, Devin, of Knoxville; brothers, Sam Hinch, of Clinton, John Hinch, of Atlanta, and Jack Hinch, of LaFollette; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 30 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service with Mike Torrence officiating.
