Elsie Phillips Shown Warman, 86, of Jacksboro, died Sept. 14. She was a member of Cumberland View Baptist Church. Mrs. Warman enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and she loved her family very much.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Avery Shown and Lushion Warman; parents, James and Martha McKamey Phillips; brothers, Wilmer, Elmer, Carlos, Kilmer and Ernest Phillips; sisters, Kilsie Henderson, Carrie Gross and Geneva Shoun.
She is survived by her daughters, Ella Jean Pierce and husband Roy Mack of Jacksboro, Anita Norman and husband Tommy, of Speedwell, Jennie Martin and husband Kenny of Caryville; stepsons, Donnie Warman of Speedwell, Gary and Jimmy Warman, both of White Oak, Bobby Warman of Jacksboro; brothers, Virgil Phillips of Jacksboro, Odis Phillips of LaFollette; sisters, Frosty Henderson of LaFollette, Oma Heatherly of Bon Aqua; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; special friends, Mae Hatmaker, Betty Douglas, Sue Osborne and several nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were Sept. 16 with the Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson and the Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment was in Cumberland View Cemetery.
