Fayetta Willoughby Clawson, 70, of LaFollette, died April 21 at her home.

She was a member of Forks Grove Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday school for several years. Fayetta was a 1959 graduate of LaFollette High School, a 1963 graduate of Fort Sanders School of Nursing and retired from LaFollette Medical Center after 35 years as manager in the surgery department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ralph Clawson; parents, Pernie and Pearl McNeeley Willoughby; brother, David Wayne Willoughby; sisters, Jewell Owens, Patricia Poston, and infant sister Mary Elizabeth Willoughby.
She is survived by her sons, Melvin Clawson and wife, Tina, of Powell, Billy Reed Clawson of LaFollette; grandchildren, Dylan, Skyler and Cayden Clawson, Evan and Luke Simpson; sisters, Juanita Johnson of Morristown, Betty Willoughby of LaFollette; very special niece Michelle Cecil and several other nieces, nephews, friends and other relatves.
Funeral services were April 24 with the Rev. Ronnie Poston officiating. Interment is today at 11 a.m. at Clawson Cemetery in Speedwell.
