Jack E. Chapman, 72, of LaFollette died June 28. He accepted the Lord as his Savior Wednesday, June 20. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Lillian Chapman; brother, Glenn Chapman.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Turner Chapman; daughters and sons-in-law: Pamela and Alan Lay, Brenda and David Spangler; grandchildren Jacklyn Smith, Wesley Spangler, Hannah and Joshua Lay; two great-grandsons; brothers, James & Wayne Chapman.
A memorial service was held June 29 at 7 p.m. at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Arnold and the Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedar Hill Baptist Church or Fincastle Church of God.
Cross-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
