Nellie Marie Wolf Freeman, 81, of Kingston, died Nov. 8, at her home. She was born Jan. 12, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She married Bishop James V. Freeman, on April 14, 1951, and had been a dedicated pastor's wife for more than 61 years. She was a member of Kingston Church of God, CGMA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Emmaline Smith Wolf.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bishop James V. Freeman, of Kingston; daughter, Patricia A. Rush, of Kingston; son, Rev. Byron J. Freeman and wife, Donna, of Florida; grandchildren, Rachel Downing Young, of Kingston, James B. Freeman, of Florida, Mandy K. Rush and Bryan 'Austin' Rush, of Kingston; great-grandson, James Paul Young III, of Kingston; sister-in-law, Shirley Surber, of Jellico; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral services were Nov. 10, with the Bishop James V. Freeman, the Rev. Byron J. Freeman and the Rev. Donnie Hill officiating.
Fraker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
