Roland E. 'Rollo' Fritzsche Sr, 71, formerly of Tipp City, died Sept. 16 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.Ê He was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Allardt. 'Rollo' was a 1958 graduate of Tippecanoe High School where he earned 'All Ohio' in 1957 and held many records in football at Tipp and Ohio Athletics.Ê He was also a graduate of the University Of Miami, Fla., where he played football for the Hurricanes.Ê He was a retired Auditor from GMAC, a member of the Eagles Lodge 2201, Tipp City and Eagles Lodge 4363, LaFollette. 'Rollo' was living out his lifelong dream of living at Norris Lake in Tennessee with his boat and trusty companion Skippy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford E. and Bonnie P. Beatty Fritzsche Sr; brother, Edsel; sister, Christine.
He is survived by his twin children; Rhonda and her husband Keith Fultz, of Centerville, Ohio and Ron Fritzsche, Jr., of New Lebanon, Ohio; granddaughter Jamie Miller, of Centerville, Ohio; his best pal and companion, Skippy his dog.
Funeral services were Sept. 22 in Tipp City, Ohio. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
