Ruth Henderson, age 86, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Ebeid Hospice Residence of Sylvania. She was born in Briceville on March 20, 1932, to Thurman and Annie Hawn.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Vicky Sue (Tim) Henderson; son, Tony Lee (Audra) Henderson; grandchildren, Arvel Ray (Michael) Henderson, Kenny (Sherry) Kuhns, Pamela (Donny) Henderson, Christina Perry, Amber (Nick) Malone, and Philip Henderson; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Millie Hayes, and husband, George, and Jeanette Parrott; and brother, J.B. Hawn, and wife, Diane.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arvel C. Henderson; son, Arvel Ray Henderson, Sr.; and two sisters.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Dec. 4 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service with the Rev. Murl Phillips officiating. Interment followed at Bakers Forge Cemetery, of LaFollette.
