Travis Eugene Montgomery, 38, of Caryville, died Sept. 13. He is the precious son of Sandy and Jerry Montgomery of Caryville. Travis was a former truck driver and former volunteer with the Caryville Fire Department and member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Travis was loved by all who met him and never saw a stranger without making them his friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Montgomery; grandparents, Charlie and Ida Pike; aunts, Geraldine Hale and Julia Douglas; special uncles Gene, Roy and Aud Pike.
He is survived by his mother, Sandy Pike Montgomery; aunts, Francine Clinton of Mansfield, Ohio, Lenora Wilson of LaFollette; very special uncle, Gerald Hale of LaFollette; special cousins, Stephen Clinton of Mansfield, Ohio, Jarrett Wilson of Clinton, Justin Wilson, LaFollette.
Besides his family, Travis leaves a multitude of beloved friends.

Funeral services were Sept. 17 with the Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment was in Queener Cemetery.
Cross-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
