Victor Joey Cecil, 49, of Lake City, died Jan. 19.

He was a member of Charity Worship. He loved God and his family very much, especially his daughters and grandchildren. Victor had a great sense of humor. He was a very hard worker, an honest person who always put others before himself, had a brilliant mind, and was very inspirational.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Cecil.
He is survived by his step-father and mother Ted and Virginia Rogers of LaFollette; wife Dawna Cecil of Lake City; daughters Toni Marie Cecil Weltch and husband Bruce, of Lake City and Kylie Anne Cecil and fiancŽ, Jon Dodson, of Lake City; brothers Jeffrey Cecil and wife, Michelle Cecil, of Jacksboro, brothers-in-law Keith and Tommy Slover of Winterhaven, Fla., father and mother-in-law Tom and Louise Slover of LaFollette; grandchildren Ryleigh and Gabe Weltch, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Jan. 21 with the Rev. Harry James officiating. Interment was Jan. 22 at the Helenwood Cemetery.
Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
