Joan Marie Bray, 75, of LaFollette, died July 2.
She was a member of Fincastle Church of God. She enjoyed reading the bible, listening to the local gospel station, dining out and playing dominoes with her family and friends.
She was the heart of the family, whom she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Eversgerd and Edna Faye Brown; grandparents, Samuel and Verna McLain; brothers, Harold, Marlin, Norman and James Eversgerd; and sister, Sandra Forth.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Bray, of LaFollette; son, Larry Bray, of LaFollette; daughters, Mary Portner and husband, Kenneth, of Rochelle, Ill.; Betty Erdman and husband, Todd, of LaFollette; Yvonne Weyer and husband, Walter, of Bolingbrook, Ill.; brothers, Michael Cote, of Jacksboro; DeWayne, Larry and Donald "Dino" Eversgerd, all of Ill.; sisters, Susanne Evans, of LaFollette; Darlene Lohman, of North Carolina; Linda Lohman, of Ill.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; very special niece, Terri Mulvaney of Ill.; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were July 6 at Fincastle Church of God with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
Interment was in Powell Valley Cemetery. Make donations to Campbell County Cancer Association.
Martin Wilson Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge of arrangements.
