Clay W. Lowe, 89, of Dayton, Ohio, died June 23.

He served as a Marine in World War II and fought in the battle of Iwo Jima. He was also a member of the Clock Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannalea, in 1998; parents, Fred and Mayme Lowe; brothers, Charles, Cecil and Everett; and sisters, Willa Jean and Pat.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra James Davis; sister, Sarah Omega Lowe of Chapmanville, W.V.; granddaughter, August Davis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were June 28 at Dayton, Ohio.
