Warren Lewallen Obituary

Warren Eddie Lewallen, 58, of the Ditney Trail Community in Huntsville, died Nov. 29, at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was a well-known carpenter building many homes, remodeling churches, restaurants, etc.
He was born Nov. 7, 1954, in Oneida to Mary Beatrice Garrett Lewallen and Eddie Lewallen Jr. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father; granddaughter, Keri Smithers; grandparents, Omar Garrett and Effie Collins Garrett, and Fannie Ellis Lewallen; brother, David Lewallen and two infant brothers; father-in-law, William Clyde Hedrick Sr., of St. Louis, Mo., J.C. York Sr. of West Robbins; brothers-in-law, Douglas York, of West Robbins, William Clyde Hedrick Jr., of Grady, Ark.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Hedrick Lewallen; children, Penesa (Penny Bowling) Driggers, Trisha Smith, Dennis Lewallen, Nancy Lewallen, Janice Perry; mother, Mary Beatrice Garrett Lewallen; mother-in-law, Betty Gale York, of West Robbins; brother, Randy Lewallen and wife, Carolyn Dee, of West Robbins; sister, Susan Connie Phillips and husband, Gilbert, of West Robbins; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hedrick and wife, Brenda, of Helenwood, and J.C. York Jr., of West Robbins; sisters-in-law, Sheila Sue York Roberts, of Griffin, Ga., Delphia (Liz Hedrick) Bryant and husband, Joe, of El Dorado, Kan.; grandchildren, Lacey Henry, Dewayne Henry Jr., Mikayla Phillips, Joseph Lee Smithers, Jr., Johnathan C. Smithers, Chase Lewallen, Taylor Sehaal, Jade Sehaal, Keligh Lewallen, Damian Perry and Alyssa Perry; along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were Dec. 2, with Bro. Mike Smithers and Bro. Lee Spence officiating. Music was provided by Carol and Lee Spence. Interment was at Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins.
Pallbearers were Kevin York, Lee Roberts, James Hedrick, Jason Lewallen, Greg Phillips, Dewayne Henry Sr., Kenneth Hedrick, J.C. York Jr., Danny McCann and Clarence Colter.
