Robert 'Bobby' Burrell, 74, of Jacksboro, died Feb. 11. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Jacksboro where he served as a deacon and Sunday School Director. He was an United States Air Force veteran, having served from 1957 to 1961, retired from TVA and did local land surveying. He served on the Jacksboro Town Council and was currently serving on the Caryville-Jacksboro Utility Board.

He enjoyed spending time on the lake fishing and with his grandkids and family.
He was preceded in death by mother, Helen Rector and stepfather Denton 'Poss' Rector; sisters, Pat Burrell McCulley and Christine Lipp.
He is survived by the wife and love of his life for 54 years, Ann Agee Burrell; son, David Burrell and wife, Cindy, of Byron, Ga.; daughters, Suzanne Sharp and husband, Michael, of Jacksboro, Carolyn Daugherty and husband, John, of Caryville; grandchildren, Rachel Clark and Katie Crawford, of Georgia, Chris and Courtney Sharp, of Jacksboro, Sydney and Caleb Daugherty, of Caryville; two great-grandchildren; brother, Don Burrell and wife, Pat; brother in law, David McCulley and wife, Peggy, all of Jacksboro; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends tonight beginning at 6 p.m. with funeral services at 8 p.m. with Pastor Bill Morris officiating. Interment is tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Jacksboro Cemetery with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church Jacksboro Building Fund.
