Barbara E. Gregg Greene Blake Flora, died March 8 at the Hospice of Dayton Ohio, surrounded by her family and friends and special friend Ike Issac. She was born Nov. 10, 1945 to the late James and Dortha Gregg of Jellico.
Barbara was a caring nurse for 30 years and devoted her life to others in need. She was a kind person that always had everyone's best interest at heart. She will be missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bernard J. Blake and James O. Flora.
She is survived by her sons, Dale Greene and wife, Lorraine, of Bowersville, Ohio, Fred Blake and wife, Joy, of Iron City; daughter, Ruth Rue and husband, Daniel, of Xenia, Ohio; brother, Jimmy (James Duffy) Gregg of Sevierville; sister, Hazel Gregg Bullman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandchildren, Brandon and Cierra Greene, Hannah and Courtney Rue, Nathan Blake, Amber Hanson, Joseph and Ginnie Blake.
At Barbara's wishes, her body has been donated to Wright State Univiersity Medical School. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hospice of Dayton in her memory. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Hospice of Dayton.
