Mack, Joseph  
Joseph Mack passed away Friday. He was born October 26, 1959 to the late Charles Jones and Ethel Mae and E. J. Jones. He was reared by his grandparents, Husher and Louise Mack. He attended West Laurens Senior High School and later joined the National Guard. Years later, he moved to LaGrange, Georgia and was employed by Georgia Pacific until his illness in 2000. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Mack; three sons, Derrick Mack, Dublin, GA; Isaiah Mack, CN; and Christopher Mack, Las Vegas, NV; step-son, Christopher Keels, LaGrange, GA; a son he reared as his own, Zachary Davis; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Willie Mae (Rufus) Sutton, Leatha Coney, Dublin, GA; Patricia (Michael) Baldwin, Canton, GA: Andra Jones (Dana Bass), Miramar, FL; Carolyn (Mark) Geohaghan, Buford, GA: brothers, Philander (Vanessa) Jones, Debary, FL; Darryl (Tonya) Jones, Columbia, SC; Keith Jones, Pensacola, FL; Raymond Jones, James, Jones, and Ennis Jones, Dublin, GA; mother-in-law, Rose Denson, Dublin, GA; step-mother, Bernice Jones, Miami, FL; sister-in-law, Ruby (Bobby) Atkins, Dublin, GA: brothers-in-law, Billy Denson, Harold Denson, Jimmy Taylor, all of Dublin, GA; devoted, caring, and loving friends, Reginald Copeland and Wayne Manning; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday at 11:00 at South Park Avenue Church Of Christ. Brother Ronnie Nation will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery. McCoy, Jackson  
Jackson McCoy, 21, of LaGrange, GA passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016. Jackson was born April 9, 1995 in LaGrange, GA. He was a graduate of Callaway High School and was currently employed with Home Depot. After high school, Jackson enlisted in the U.S. Navy during which time he served as a machinist. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Elaine Heath. Survivors include his wife, Ashley Nichole McCoy; daughter, Natalie McCoy; son, Michael McCoy; mother, Tonya Neese; father, Marshall McCoy and his wife Ashley McCoy; siblings, Tyler McCoy, Allison Ferrell, Kennedy McCoy, and Aiden McCoy; grandparents, Elmer and Lorraine McCoy, Ben and Joan England; great grandmother, Johnnie McCoy; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. McLaughlin Jr., Simuel  
Simuel McLaughlin, Jr. passed away Wednesday. He was born March 11, 1942 to the late, Simuel McLaughlin, Sr. and Leola Jenkins in Troup County, Georgia. Simuel was a graduate of East Depot High School. He was previously employed by Newman Construction. Survivors include his children, Simuel Anthony McLaughlin (Shelia Brown), Sharon Evonn (Jimmy) Smith, Meon (Michael) Walker, Carlos Valdez Cox, Victor Jermane Asberry (Tontalay Jones), Octavia Manley (Colonda) Cox, Christina Sanika Ligon, and Crystal (Travis) Blandingburg; eighteen grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Earl) Shephard, Gloria McLaughlin; brother, Jerry McLaughlin; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The Celebration of Life Service will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Jesus Christ Christian Worship Center, Wright Street. Rev. Travis Blandingburg will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery. Morris, James Richard  
Mr. James Richard Morris, 91, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Morris was born November 24, 1924, in Albertville, AL, son of the late Dock and Catherine Handley Morris. A veteran of service in the U. S. Army Air Forces during World War Two, he had lived in Troup County most of his life, was a retired farmer, had also worked at Uniroyal, Inc. and at Milliken and Co., and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
