Walters, David  
David Allen Walters, 55, of Valley, AL, husband of Laurie Channell, passed away on Sunday, January 31st 2016, at Tallahassee Memorial hospital in Florida. David was a hardworking man, motorcycling enthusiast, and dedicated bother, husband, and uncle. He was also a very humble and loving man. Surviving are wife Laurie Channell, mother Nyla Walters, brother Donald Walters, Ronald Walters, sisters Frances Reddish and Daina Green and nephews. His memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6th at 11:00am central time at Pine Grove Church in the Chapel at 7235 Us Highway 29 N Opelika, AL 3680. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Pine Grove Church in care of Manna Food Ministry. Donations may be sent to address listed above or online at www.pinegrove.us .

White, Carla Lee  
Carla Lee White, 42, of LaGrange, GA passed away Friday, February 05, 2016 at West Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy battle with cancer. Carla was born December 13, 1973 in Rome, GA, daughter of Ernest Lamar Lee and Brenda Turner Lee. Carla was very active and a huge supporter of Hope For A Day and Paint The Town Pink. Survivors in addition to her parents, Ernest and Brenda Lee, include her husband, James "Brad" White; daughters, Maurie Christine White and Morgan Mills White; sisters, Lisa Lee Duke and her husband Edward "Brad" Duke and Monica Lee Thornton; and nieces and nephews, Braden Duke, Press Thornton, Turner Duke, Lee Thornton, Matt Wagner, Blake Wagner, Clint Wagner, Jennifer White, Katie White, Ashley Hall, Kyle Kelley, Eric Kieling, and Meagan Vasser. A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:30 P.M. Monday, February 8, 2016 at Rosemont Baptist Church with Rev. Max McCord officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hope For A Day – C4 Team, P.O. Box 145, LaGrange, GA 30241in memory of Carla Lee White. Wright, Wayne  
Mr. Wayne Wright, 67, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at his home. Mr. Wright was born Jan. 28, 1949, in Hogansville, and lived in Troup County all of his life. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a retired building and insulation contractor. He was a former rescue diver and volunteer for the Troup County Fire Department, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Lil Wright of Hogansville; daughters and sons in-law, Shelly and Mike Hendrix, Sherry and Jeff Oglesby, all of LaGrange; his mother, Betty Dorrough Wright of LaGrange; sister and brother in-law, Becky and Doug Crow of Hogansville; grandchildren, Levi Hand, Courtney Hand, Dawson Holloway, Hunter Bass, Robert Hand, Logan Hand; and a great-grandson, Jase Hand. He was preceded in death by his father, James P. Wright. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, with military honors. Condolences may be expressed at www.mckibbenfuneralhome.com
