Willie Bailey

Mr. Willie James ("Kool Aid") Bailey of Pine Mountain passed away Friday.

Mr. Bailey, a native of LaGrange, was born July 30, 1952, and was the son of the late Mary Russell and L. C. Bailey. He attended LaGrange High School and graduated from the Overseas Dependent School in Germany, Class of 1973. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Angela Bailey, Pine Mountain; four loving sons: Cornelious Bailey, Florence, KY; Willie and Cory Bailey, Chattanooga, TN; Stanley McGhee, Pine Mountain; two loving daughters: Ciera McGee and Kiera McGee, Pine Mountain; eight grandchildren; devoted Godmother, Inez Gates, Atlanta; loving sister, Betty Bailey, LaGrange; two brothers: William Duke Russell, LaGrange; Henry (Ann) Russell, Overland, MD; devoted mother-in-law, Deloise McGee, Pine Mountain; brother-in-law, Mark Blackmon; two sisters-in-law, Lisa Culpepper, Gloria Bennett, LaGrange; loving cousin, Gregory Hightower; nieces, nephews; six aunts; devoted friends: Willie James ("Shank") Fannin, Rodney Smith, K.P. (Belinda) Patillo, Bernard Favors, Willie Frank McGee, Milton Copeland; other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 1:00PM at the New Community Church on South Davis Road. Bishop James Newsom will officiate. Burial will be in the Shadowlawn Cemetery with military honors.

The family will be at their home.
