Rev. Willie Tucker passed away Monday at Nanicoke Hospital, Seaford, Delaware.

Rev. Tucker, the youngest son of late Ike and Winnie Tucker, was born in Meriwether County, Georgia on July 7, 1928.

At an early age, he joined the Branch Hebron Baptist Church and attended Meriwether County Schools.

Rev. Tucker moved to New York in 1952 and married the late Mary Elma Tucker. During the early part of his life, he became a believer and servant of Christ. He was a faithful member of the Greater Central Baptist Church.

He worked in a supervisory capacity for City College and retired to become a full-time Missionary for Christ. He was loved unconditionally by his church family and birth family. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Survivors include two daughters: Theresa Tucker, Bronx, NY; Lorraine Tucker, Laurel, DE; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, son-in-law, Robert Malone, Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 at Branch Hebron Baptist Church, Greenville. Rev. H. L. Jones and Rev. Frank Hawkins will officiate. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery.
