Judy Schenck Obituary

Judy Schenck was born March 13, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio. She left us with grace on September 14, 2012.
Judy is survived by her husband, Frank; their three children, Cynthia, James and Brandi; nine grandchildren; and sisters, Lynda and Sharon.
Judy and Frank have resided in Poway since 1972, beginning their first taste of Poway at the Totem Pole on Poway and Carriage Road. A few years later Judy was employed by the Poway School District, Transportation Department, and retired after 25 years of exceptional and devoted service.
Judy had many significant and endearing accomplishments during her life, but all are expressed or exceeded by the heartfelt comments of those who knew her: Your smiles, laughs and great life advice will forever be with me; People in our lives are not there by accident, God put them there for a reason; She had an amazing spirit, an infectious sense of happiness; She was a Sparkler; My sweet, closest friend of 45 years, I think the world stopped for a moment this morning; She always displayed grace, good humor and love of life; The most beautiful angel you must make; I will forever hear your laugh; Today the world lost a phenomenal woman; Heaven shines a little brighter this morning; I promise I'll make you proud because I know you're watching over me. WE LOVE YOU MAMU!
Donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
Thank you for sharing Judy's life with me, we have been blessed!

Not sure what to say?

To my friend Judy "my little buddy". I remember all the fun we had on Friday nights after work. The good times when we worked the Olympics. So many wonderful memories. All good. You will be missed. I know now you are watching over all of us. You are loved. Be with God and be happy. We will all meet again. Your friend - Ruthie

Judy, you had so many friends in CA, but you will always be remembered, loved and missed by those friends you left behind in Stuart, FL. I remember a cute teenager always wanting to hang with the "big kids" and creating havoc with sister Lynda's life in general. And as you grew into the wonderful woman you became, she watched you always with love, admiration and sisterly pride. We had so much fun when you came "home" a few years ago and I'm thankful for that time. We will all meet again and what a grand time we will have. In the meantime, watch over your family and those friends who will miss you forever. Love you, Lady J.

My dearest Brat. No one will love me like you do. I will miss your beautiful smile, laughter, love of life, arguments that only sisters can have. I loved you more that you know. Your big Sis.

My mamu was such an understanding, calm, and beautiful person. I am very sad that she has left and will not be here to see me get married or have children. But I know that her spirit will be smiling over me and my family forever. Her laugh and her ability to spread happiness wherever she went was inspiring and I will do my best to carry that with me.

I love you Mamu and I will see you again someday.

Dear Frank and family- I know what your going through, Judy always brought a smile to our face. Her kind manner calmed me. As dispatcher she always knew what to do and took control and stayed in control. She was a very strong woman. The Cooley's are very sorry for your loss.
