1947 – 2012
Polly Parker, of Ramona, passed away at home Friday, September 7, 2012, at the age of 65. She was born in Escondido on May 23, 1947, to Paul and Dorothy Darrough who have preceded her in death. She had recently celebrated her 45th wedding anniversary with her husband, Leonard Parker.
Polly raised three daughters, worked in education and was a published author of short stories and poetry. She loved music and enjoyed going to concerts and musicals. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Parker; three daughters, Lori Parker (Cindy Williams), Cindy(Charlie) Williams and Sharla (Byron) Harrold; as well as her adopted friend, Christy Martinez. All residing in Ramona. She was the proud Grandma to nine grandchildren, Cassie Williams, Keely, Ashlynn and Jack Williams, Mykie, Madison and Jayden Harrold and Dominique and Dakota Martinez. She is also survived by her brother, Galen (Patty) Darrough of Greely, CO; sisters, Patricia Cass of Ramona and Gale (Bob) Lawhead of Temecula, CA; and many nephews, nieces, friends and family.
She will be missed greatly by all of us, but always in our hearts and our memories.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the Nuevo Memorial Gardens in Ramona.
Bonham Bros & Stewart Mortuary and Cremation Service is assisting the family.

I'm so sorry Leonard and family to lose this wonderful lady. You are were so very lucky to have her in your lives. I'm glad I had the chance to meet her and to be a neighbor. God Bless.

Cindy and family....we are very sorry for the loss of your mom. It is a very difficult time but, with the love of family and friends I am sure you and your family will find strength. Sorry we couldn't be there in person. Love the List Family
