Our beloved Susan Morris, 51, left this world November 15, 2012. Sue was a major part of this community for over 20 years. She was that Kool "Special Ed" bus driver for RUSD, always shedding love and contagious laughter to everyone that encountered her. Many knew her and welcomed her crazy hat wearing, free spirit into their lives. Many loved her because of the fun, free, way she lived life.
She tragically left behind all that she took care of and cared for. Her husband of 32 years, Dennis Morris, the love of her life; her only son, DJ Morris, the light of her life; her grandchildren, Cora, Kylie and Maddison, the joys of her life; as well as her father, Ron Howell; younger sister, Tammy; and a long list of lifelong best friends, family, and so many more. This is a crushing loss.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

I loved you more than you knew and felt like we were equal even if I'm 5'10. I will try to make sure there's still a wild woman dancing by fires and howling at the moon.

There are only so many people in this world who live with the passion, compassion, and love, and the fire that Sue did. Sue was an amazing woman! She radiated love for her granddaughters. There is no one like Susan and I will always keep her in my heart.

My BFF my heart is breaking my dear friend. You have left this earth. I will miss you terribly. I will always remember how you gave unconditionally and you never were afraid to be yourself. I pray for all of us that our sorrow, pain, anger, and frustration will be eased. The Lord spoke to my heart through prayer and said Do not worry a moment longer "I have rescued Sue". Jesus said, "you will always have trouble in this life." Remember the one that is always with you holding your right hand and promises to guide you with HIS counsel." I know in my heart I will see you again in Heaven. I LOVE YOU hunny bunny Vicki

I will miss so many things about my dear friend and co-worker Sue. I would always tell her she had a heart as big as Texas!! I have never met anyone as generous and thoughtful as her. She put "spice" in everything and everywhere she went. I will miss that so much. Her love for the kids, her "boom box" she had on the bus for a while because her radio didn't work, going out to breakfast and her going around and talking to everyone in the restaurant. Love you so much Sue!! Praying for your family.

I had just seen her a few months ago after some years and got a HUGE hug!! She was as happy and smiley as always. I just heard about this today from a fellow EX-Cheers pal, and I am devastated. I will always hold the happiness she brought me dear, and as my picture of her memory.

If you ever had the opportunity to meet Sue, you were truely blessed. She was a very kind hearted soul who made it her purpose to make everyone she came in contact with feel like they were a part of her family. That is what made her so special along with her free spirit and laughter. For family and friends she leaves behind, may she live on through your fond memories. We are truely sorry for your loss. Sue was an AMAZING woman, friend, and bus driver. She drove my son and when she dropped him off at home, they were always singing or telling jokes. Never in a bad mood and always cheerful. She will certainly be missed. What a REALLY neat lady.
