Florence Nebeling peacefully passed away at her home in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, on July 2, 2013. She was born in Ardmore, PA, on October 27, 1931, the youngest of seven children.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, she travelled the world as a flight attendant for Pan American Airlines. After she and Jacob Nebeling married, they settled in Marin County and continued to enjoy international travel with their family.
She is predeceased by her husband Jacob, the father of their four children, Marcus Nebeling of Half Moon Bay, Christina Thomas of Santa Monica, Sophia Alsadek of Rancho Santa Fe, and Andrea Nebeling of San Francisco. In addition to her children, she is survived by seven adoring grandchildren, numerous loving nieces and nephews, her brother Philip, and sisters Gloria and Millie. She is also survived by her companion of the past seven years, Duane Murphy, of Pocatello, Idaho, who shared her love of travel.
She lived a long and satisfying life and will be remembered fondly by all those who loved her. She will live in our hearts forever.
