Baldomero "George" Reyna Jr. Obituary
Reyna Jr., Baldomero George 71, of Waukegan passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. George was born October 5, 1942 in Waco, TX. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart medal. Following his time in the Marines, he worked at Dominick's grocery store, where he retired after 30 years. George is survived by his children, Dora Reyna, Rachel Reyna, and Vincent (Gloria) Reyna; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Antonia Cervantez, Victoria Hernandez, Gloria Garcia, all of Waco, TX, Eva Amador, of Mesquite, TX, Bertha (Enrique) Eveline, Lupe (Luis) Luna, and brother Rey Fernandez all of Waukegan; brother, Manuel (Karen) Perez of Phoenix, AZ; a host of nieces and nephews; and man's best friend, Kayley. George was preceded in death by his wife, Elida Reyna; parents, George Reyna, Sr. and Blaza Perez; brothers, Johnny, Joe, and Rudy Reyna; granddaughter, Natalie Melendez; and stepmother, Mary Reyna. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at THE MEMORIAL CHAPEL OF WAUKEGAN, 1521 Washington St., Waukegan, IL 60085.
