Brian Charles Corder Obituary
Corder, Brian Charles Age 62, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013, at Highland Park Hospital after losing his battle with cancer. Brian was born on October 1, 1951 to Charles and Virginia (Edwards) in Winthrop Harbor, graduated from Zion-Benton High School, and joined the Army reserves. Brian was also very active and well known in the real estate industry for 40 years, worked at Chase, and later owned and operated Lake Cook Appraisals in Grayslake. Brian was known by so many friends and family for his unique brand of humor, which he never lost. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved animals, and especially enjoyed the many trips, adventures, experiences, and stories he could tell on his Harley Davidson with his HD buddies. Everyone will remember his kindness, the fun persona that was a big part of him, and the lasting friendships he built over the years. Brian leaves behind his loving wife and best friend, Jane (Keuth); eight children: Alicia, Gina, Brian, Heather, Paul, Mark (Melinda), Michael (Julianne), and Katie (Chad); eleven grandchildren; sister, Diane; brother, Chuck; step-mother, Mildred; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sheryl. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at 12:00pm at Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee, IL with the Memorial Service immediately following the visitation at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Brian's memory to North Shore Hospice, 4901 Searle Parkway, Suite 160, Skokie, IL 60077 will be appreciated.
