Pearson, Howard Dean Was born on December 3, 1956, in Milwaukee, WI to his parents, Lonzo H. Pearson Sr. and Josie Mae Harris. He was the second child born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brothers, Lonzo Jr., Cornelius, and his sister, Portia. He was lovingly nicknamed "Sweet Water". Growing up, Howard loved sports. He played baseball, basketball and football. Howard received his early education in Denver, CO, where he attended Manual High School. On April 15, 1976, Howard enlisted in the United States Army. While serving his country, he earned a Marksman (rifle) ribbon. He served with honor and distinction and was honorably discharged. Howard has worked in both Colorado and Illinois. He was a man who enjoyed being his own boss and working hours of his preference. He was the owner and operator of Pearson Unlimited. Howard departed this life on March 30, 2014 in Denver, CO. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his sister, Portia (Stephen) Alexander of Aurora; brother, Cornelius Pearson of Denver; one niece, Portia B. Pearson; one great-niece, Kalayah M. Griggs; nephews, Donde O. Collier, Michael Collier and Lonzo Pearson III; his cousin, Reverend Leon H. Kelly Jr. and family; his devoted friend, Madelyn Richardson and her children Beverly Richardson, Lori Richardson, Sharon (Thomas) Huiett and Art (Junnie) Richardson and a host of other relatives and many friends.
