Kennedy, William A. "Bill" Age 87, of Pittsford, NY, formerly of Waukegan, Illinois, passed away on July 17, 2013 at age 87. He was born on July 13, 1926, and lived in Waukegan for 62 years. His parents were Sheriff Thomas E. Kennedy and Kathryn Crawford Kennedy, of Lake County, Illinois, both of whom are deceased. Bill served in the U.S. Marines, in the South Pacific in WWII and in China. On March 19, 1950, Bill married the love of his life, Barbara M. Fullner at St. Patrick's Church in Wadsworth, IL. Bill was on the Waukegan Police Department and retired as a Captain in 1975. Bill joined the staff of St. Therese Hospital in 1976, retiring as a hospital Vice President in 1986. After moving to Naples, NY, in 1988, Bill was elected South Bristol Town Justice 3 times, retiring in 1999. He is survived by his three loving daughters, Patricia Kennedy of Lincoln City, OR, Connie Grier of Pittsford, NY, and Karen (Alan) Bristol, of Rochester, NY; 3 grandsons, Alex Grier, Michael Bristol, and Thomas Bristol, all of Rochester; beloved friend, Holly Elwell, of Canandaigua, NY; as well as cousins, nephews, nieces, and many dear friends. Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara; his parents; brother, Hugh Kennedy; and sister, Barbara Palo. Calling hours were held at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services in Rochester. A Memorial Mass was held at St. Januarius Church in Naples. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
