Titusville
Thomas "Tom" Lee Loeffler, 54, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Parrish Medical Center. He was born August 24, 1958, in Jacksonville, FL. Tom attended school in Lake City and Gainesville before joining the U.S Navy in 1979. Serving until 1983, he entered submarine school in San Diego and was an electrician aboard the USS Flasher SSN-613. He was later employed by the Alachua County School Board as a Plant Mechanic at Gainesville High School for 13 years. He moved to Titusville in 2008 to be near his family. Tom enjoyed fishing, photographing wildlife, the environment and just life itself, but his greatest joy was his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Lee Aultman. Survivors include his parents, William and Julia Loeffler of Mims; step father, George Aultman of Belleview, FL; three brothers, Bill (Jan) Loeffler of Mims, Keith (Lynne) Loeffler of Fayetteville, NC, and Scott (Debbie) Riner of Blue Springs, MO; three sisters, Karen Aultman of West Palm Beach, Beth (Dave) Ewing of Orlando, and Angela (Rodney) Perry of Titusville; grandfather, Marvin Godbold of Baldwin, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at North Brevard Funeral Home in Titusville beginning at 1:00 pm followed by the memorial service at 3:00 pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association. Online condolences may be shared at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com.
