Eddie Larence Bradley

Brother Eddie Lawrence Bradley, Sr. was born May 31, 1943, in Lake City Columbia County, Florida to Katie Mae and Simon Bradley, Sr. They preceded him in death. On Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Shands of Lake Shore Hospital, Eddie answered the call and entered into eternal rest. He was educated in the public schools of Columbia County. Brother Bradley began his spiritual journey at an early age. He met and was united in Holy Matrimony to Ada Coker, with whom he lived happily until his demise. He was employed with NAPA of Lake City for several years. Other precedents in death: daughter, Sheryl Elaine Bradley; brother, Noah E. Bradley; and sister, Emma L. Bradley-Jernigan.
He leaves to cherish memories: His loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Ada Coker Bradley; daughters, Patricia Bradley-Gilchrist (Kenneth), Gloria B. Foster (Harold); sons, Eddie L. Bradley, Jr. (Tomeka), Edward Bradley; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosa Bradley, Helen Bradley Lee (Carl), Helen Bradley Fluellen (Thomas), Diane Bradley Jones (Curtis); brothers, Simon Bradley, Jr. (Claretha), Robert Bradley (Phyllis) Rudolph Bradley, and Frederick Bradley (Ellen); uncle, Herman Huland; sisters-in-law, Edith Tomlin (Charlie), Ollie Mae Shelton (Willie), Julie Jones (Dennis), Karen Cray (Amos), Annie Jean Campbell; brothers-in-law, Isiah Coker, Bobby Coker, Vinzet Coker, Tony Coker (Lorrie), Albert Coker (Wanda), Steve Coker; hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Eddie L. Bradley will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 550 NE Martin Luther King St., Lake City, FL, Alvin J. Baker, Pastor.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018, at the funeral home.
