Jake Austin Hansen

Mr. Jake Austin Hansen, 18, of Ft. White, passed away suddenly on Tuesday January 21, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Jake was born on May 28, 1995 in Avon Park, FL to Michelle Bousquet and James Hansen. Jake had a passion for baseball; and was also an avid hunter and motorcycle enthusiast. Jake was a member of the First Baptist Church in Branford and was also a graduate of the Branford High School class of 2013. He was also in the process of joining the United States Army.
Jake is survived by his parents: Michelle and Donnie Carter of Ft. White. Father James Hansen of Jacksonville. Brother: Joshua Hansen of Ft. White. Sisters: Erica Spikes and Sierra Carter both of Ft. White. Maternal grandparents: Danny and Kathy Bousquet of Branford. Close family Polly Whitehouse and Billy and Linda Spikes. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and other extended family and friends who have consistently contributed to the happiness of Jake's life also survive.
Memorial services for Jake will be conducted on Saturday January 25, 2014 at 11 A.M. in the First Baptist Church Christian Life Center in Branford, FL. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-7 P.M. in the Chapel of Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home in Lake City.
