Wayne Alford Parrish

Wayne Alford Parrish, 58, a resident of Lake City, Florida passed away Thursday February 14, 2013 at the Shands of University of Florida Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Parrish was a lifelong resident of Lake City, Florida and is the son of the late James Alford Parrish.  He graduated from the Columbia High School Class of 1972 and was a member of the Lantern Park Baptist Church.  He was employed by Spires Food Store as a butcher for the past eighteen years.
Survivors include his mother:  Lorene Jenkins Parrish, Lake City, Florida, Two Sisters:  Cindy (Gus) Perry, Dahlonega, Ga. And Teresa Parrish, Lake City, Fl.  Two Brothers:  J.B. (Gwendolyn) Parrish, Lake City, Fl. and Steven (Emilie) Parrish, Crawfordville, Fl.  Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Parrish will be conducted Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay Porter, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 just prior to the service.
