William George Causebrook

Mr. William G. Causebrook, 79 of Lake City FL passed away November 16, 2013 in Haven Hospice after an extended illness. Mr. Causebrook has been living in FL for 43 years after moving here from Little Valley, NY. Then moving to Fort White, in 1971 he owned a 55 acre beef farm for 35 years before moving to Lake City.
He was a Lieutenant in the Reception Medical Center in Lake Butler, Florida and then was a contractor for several years. He was also an avid golfer. He attended Little Valley Central School and got his GED at the prison while working there. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joy Engelhaupt Causebrook and a daughter, Sherry Stills (Tom), two step daughters, Peggy Crossfield (William), Little valley NY and Katheleen Johnson (Wayne) Randolph NY, a son Eddie Causebrook (Mary) NY four grandchildren, LeWanda Kight (David Paul), Live Oak, Florida. Christopher Causebrook, Paula Causebrook and Alanna Causebrook. Step grandchildren, Lynn Crossfield, Matthew Miller, great-grandsons, Zachary Miller, Corry Miller, Levi Kight, great-granddaughters, Ellie Walters. A brother, Robert Causebrook, (Laura), Lake Wales, Florida.
He was predeceased by a son, William (Billy) Causebrook Jr., a brother John Causebrook, sisters; Irene Edwards and Katherine Wilkinson, Susan Pritchard, his parents; George and Bernice Causebrook passed away 1993 and 1981. A step grandson, Chad Miller. There will be no memorial or service. The family asks donations be made to the Heart Fund.
