Mr. Ed Woodbery, 49, passed away at his home April 10, 2014 in Panama City Beach, Florida. He was born Edward Benson Woodbery, III in Tallahassee on December 24, 1964 and moved with his family to Live Oak in 1970. He graduated from Suwannee High School in 1983.

An accomplished musician, he played piano in the high school jazz band and accompanied soloists in music competitions. Later he was pianist for several churches in the community. After high school, Ed attended Lake City Community College for one year before transferring to the University of Florida where he joined the Kappa Alpha fraternity. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1987.
His career included employment by Barnett Bank of North Central Florida, Wayne Frier Mobile Homes, the Parks Johnson Agency and People's State Bank in Lake City. After relocating in Panama City Beach he was self employed as a Bank Consultant.
He is survived by his step-father: Dennis Resor, sister: Lauren Woodbery Green, brother-in-law: Travis Green, nephew: Ethan Green, father: Edward Woodbery, step-mother: Linda, two uncles and three cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Resor.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Patricia D. Resor Scholarship Fund at the First United Methodist Church of Live Oak, 311 S Ohio Ave, Live Oak, FL 32064.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 18th at First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Hay officiating. There will be a visitation held from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service. Interment will be held in Live Oak Cemetery.
