Moise Moses Desravines, age 75, passed away peacefully November 28, 2017 at Suwannee Health Center; Haven Hospice.
Moise Moses Desravines was born in Haiti June 27, 1942 to Mrs. Margerite Francilien Desravines and Mr. Merisier Wilfrid Desravines. He received his education in Haiti and moved to the United States in 1961 and joined the United States Army. He traveled around the world and spoke 7 different languages as a merchant marine. February 14, 1983 he was united in matrimony to Schenetter Ganier.
He resided in West Palm Beach, FL and was employed with Captain Security at Wells Fargo and Pinkerton Security for many years and retired in 1998.
Moise leaves to cherish precious memories a loving and devoted wife Schenetter G. Desravines, children; Moises Moses Desravines, Jr., Michael Desravines and Tony Desravines; Daughters; Sonie Desravines, Sahkiner Gaddy and Tricia Hagan. Sisters; Josette Desravines, Rita Desravines and Bernadette Desravines. Brother Raphael Desravines. Sister and brothers-laws; Ruby Lee Powell, Thelma Tyler, Minnie Lee Gainer, Willie (Janie) Gainer, 8 grandchildren and a host of loving aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
Service will be held 11:00am Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Mount Tabor AME Church with Pastor Rickey L. Curry, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at 5:30pm Friday, December 8, 2017 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel.
