Bobby Nathaniel Prickett, 50, always and forever the father of 2 and grandfather of 6, passed away April 29 in Fort Morgan, CO.

He is survived by his wife, Tami Prickett; son, Johnathan Prickett; daughter, Amanda Beckstead; son-in-law, Bryce Beckstead; daughter-in-law, Tiffany Prickett; grandchildren, Gabriel Prickett, Hunter Beckstead, KayLee Beckstead, Sarah Beckstead, Jayden Beckstead, and Misty Beckstead. Bobby was born and raised in Jackson, AL and will be missed by his Aunt Lily Hicks, Uncle Richard Batson, Uncle Curtis Hicks, and cousins: Jackie Benfield, Linda Farlowe, Johnny Hicks, Major Hicks, Terry Hicks, Jimmy Batson, Eddie Batson, Michael Batson, Stacy Batson, Bruce Batson, Scott Batson, Sherri Batson, and Nicky Batson, and nieces: Brenda and Shannon Burgess.
At age 17, Bobby moved from Jackson, AL to Naples, FL where he met Tami, his future wife, best friend, and heartbeat. He would eventually move to Lake City, FL and open Classy Asphalt, after learning the trade from his father-in-law. Eventually, he and Tami would take their family west working on oil and gas pipelines to chase their mountain dream. Bobby worked as a superintendent for Elkhorn Construction until his passing.
Bobby would have wanted donations made to support the Alabama offensive line. The family, however, is requesting donations honoring Bobby be made to advance the understanding and treatment of Huntington's Disease at their website, hdsa.org/how-you-can-help/donations.html.
A memorial service will be held from 3-5 pm on Saturday, May 4th at the Heer Mortuary Chapel, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO.
