Mrs. Doris Elnora O'Neal, 85, a longtime resident of Lake City area, died Tuesday evening October 8, 2013 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center. Mrs. O'Neal was the widow of the late Richard Jackson O'Neal, Sr. and was the daughter of the late William and Anena Skinner Moseley. She was a Charter member of Parkview Baptist Church and in her spare time enjoyed going to the movies, swimming and watching westerns on TV. She was preceded in death by three sons William O'Neal, Francis O'Neal, John Charles Wilson and three grandchildren.
Mrs. O'Neal is survived by her children Richard O'Neal (Mary), Lake City, Florida; Barbara McDaniel (Johnny), Jasper, Florida; Alethia Love, Live Oak, Florida; Nealy O'Neal, Lake City; Florence McDaniel (Lawrence) Valdosta, Georgia; Silvia Carter (Sonny) Callahan, Florida; and a brother Henry Moseley, Tampa, Florida. Seventeen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren with one on the way.
Funeral services for Mrs. O'Neal will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday October 12, 2013 in the Chapel of Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Love officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Cemetery in Lake City, Florida The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of
