Mrs. Inet Rossin, age 82 resident of 193 N.E. Christie Street, Lake City, Florida died March 19, 2013 at The Health Care Center of Lake City terminating an extended illness. She was born in Lake City and was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Willie Mae Haddock.
At an early age she united with Falling Creek Baptist Church and later in life she united with Deep Creek Baptist Church Baptist Church where she remained an active and loyal member until her health failed.
She received her education in the public schools of Columbia county.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Russell Rossin, Sr., who preceded her in death.
Survivors include 10 children: Billy (Bea) Rossin of Miami, Florida; Thelma R. Stockton Johnson; Russell (Sonia) Rossin of Lake City, Florida; Gloria Smith (Charlie) of Jacksonville, Florida; Walter (Clarissa) Rossin; Leonard Rossin; Angela Hill; James Rossin; Barbara Jackson; and Dawn (Tom) Leahy of Lake City, Florida. 36 Grandchildren, 49 Great- Grands and 17 Great-Great-Grands. 1 sister: Mrs. Rosetta Frazier of Rochester, New York; and 2 Sister-in-Laws: Mrs. Eunice Miller of Lake City, Florida and Mrs. Rossie Rossin of Daytona Beach, Florida.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at New Day Spring Baptist church, Rev. Lantz G. Mills, Pastor, and interment will follow in the New Saint James Cemetery. The Family will receive friends March 29, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel, 215 N.E. Washington Street.
