Jerald Franklin Crumitie, Sr. transitioned from this life, April 19, 2013. Jerald, 69, was born May 17, 1953 in Aucilla, Florida to Ashley Crumitie and Mae E. Crumitie-Lane. Both preceded him in death. He was educated in the public schools of Columbia County where he attended Richardson High School. During his early years he resided in the States of New York and Louisiana. Jerald served honorably in the United States Marine Corps with a tour in Viet Nam during the war. Upon completion of his commitment to the Marine Corps, he served for many years in the United States Army National Guard Reserves. Jerald accepted Christ at an early age and rededicated his life to Christ in September 2011 at Christ Central Ministries. His passion was the love for race cars. He was a Certified Automotive Engineer, having completed his training in Buffalo, NY. He spent countless hours building and repairing his race cars.

Funeral services for Jerald F. Crumitie, Sr. will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at New Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church. 1321 NW Long Street. Lake City, FL. Rev. Lantz G. Mills, Pastor.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at the funeral home.
