Ms. Jessie Lee Burch, 84, passed away January 19, 2014 at the Heath Center of Lake City. After an extended illness, she answered the call of the Lord to come home. She was born July 3, 1929 in Waycross, Georgia. Her parents, Theodore and Rhona Lee Faison precede her in death. She was educated in Waycross, Georgia with the Ware County school system. Jessie was united in Holy Matrimony with Johnnie L. Burch, Sr. He precedes her in death. After moving to Lake City, FL, she joined New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She relocated to Gainesville, FL and joined Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. After her health began to fail, she moved back to Lake City establishing membership at New Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Lantz G. Mills, and was a mother in the church. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

Burch, Eric Burch, Sr. (Carmenita), Fredrick Burch, Jr. (Tiffany) , grandson/son; daughters, Dionysious Lively, Mae Thomas (Wayne), Faye Madison, Dawndella Harper (Bennie); sisters, Lucielle Pierce, Norma Kate Faison, Gwendolynn Frierson, Bessie Croom, Rhony Faison, Ruby Faison; brothers, Theodore Faison, Jr., Benny Faison; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Jessie Lee Burch will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at New Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church, 1321 NW Long Street, Lake City, FL. Rev. Lantz G. Mills, Pastor.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at New Day Spring MB Church.
