Kenneth Lamar DuBose, 68, of High Springs, Florida passed away at home surrounded by his family on August 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. George DuBose. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Trudie DuBose; Daughters: Kelly (David) Anderson of Riverview, FL; Dana Bowlus of Jacksonville, FL; Son: Alan (Shannon) DuBose of High Springs, FL; Sisters: Yvonne (Wayne) Whitten of Lutz, FL and Barbara Clance of Jacksonville; Grandchildren: Matthew and Mark Anderson, Micah, Meredith and Madisyn Bowlus and Trey DuBose.
He was an electrician for 45 years and a member of the Local IBEW 1205. He loved his family, friends, hunting, fishing and he loved to BBQ. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of High Springs, FL. He will be missed more than words can ever say but we know we will see him in heaven.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of High Springs with the Rev. Derek Lambert officiating. Interment will be at Phillipi Baptist Church Cemetery, Mikesville, FL following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of the Nature Coast, 150 N. Main Street, High Springs, FL 32643.
