Mrs. Vivian E. Elshoff, 96, of Lake City, Fla. and formerly of New Knoxville, OH, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at the Haven Hospice at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, Fla.

She was born on July 9, 1917 in New Knoxville, OH.
She was the daughter of George and Sarah (Holtkamp) Fledderjohann.
On Aug. 31, 1940 she married Calvin G. Elshoff, who died on Feb. 13, 2009.
Survivors include her son, Larry Elshoff of Lake City, Fla.; her daughter, Donna (Stuart) Brown of Scottsdale, Ariz.; her granddaughters, Heather Brown of Maricopa, Ariz. and Melissa Brown of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her siblings, Cervanus Fledderjohann, Elmer Fledderjohann, Raymond Fledderjohann, Adelma Warner, Norma Kettler and Geraldine Roediger.
Mrs. Elshoff was a member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, OH, where she had played the piano for the Sunday school and was an active member in the Southside Baptist Church of Lake City, Fla. She was a member of the New Knoxville Historical Society. She enjoyed playing her keyboard, working work and picture puzzles and going out to eat at local restaurants.
Funeral services were held at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, OH the Rev. Dr. David Williams officiating.
Burial followed the service at the Pilger Ruhe Cemetery of New Knoxville, OH.
