Mother Lucille Dixon Kelly, 96, was born May 1, 1918 in Madison, Florida.  Parents, George Pete and Georgia Denson precede her in death.  Mother Kelly went to be with the Lord on August 11, 2014 following a sudden illness.  She attended the public schools in Madison, Florida. Mother Kelly was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dwight Pollock, Pastor, where she served faithfully for many years. Her husband Warren Kelly, Sr., daughter, Juanita Kelly, granddaughter, Delois Kelly and several other family members precede her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Anna Marie Kelly-Hollie (Robert), Luella Kelly Thomas (Joel); sons, Warren Kelly, Jr. (Susie), Jessie Kelly; stepchild, Loretta Braithwaite; sisters, Anna May Woody, Julia Griffin; devoted grandchildren, Warrenette, Sylvia, Veronica, Bruce, Kevin, Darrel, Curtis, Marilyn; special nephew, Narvell Kelly; a special friend, Rose Burls; hosts of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mother Lucille Kelly will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at New Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church, 709 NW Long St., Lake City, FL. Rev. Lantz G. Mills, Pastor, Rev. Dwight Pollock, Officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at New Day Spring MBChurch.
