Bobby spent his formidable years on Orange Street in Lake City running on the dirt roads, playing kick-the-can and baseball with all the neighborhood kids. He could beat everyone at marbles--he was the marble champion!! He loved fishing and swimming in Hamburger Lake and Ocean Pond, playing pool at teen town and beating his brother, Butch, at Tennis.
Later in life he became ill from injuries suffered during his service in Vietnam, but he never complained. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, he loved to fish in his sister Patsy's backyard, eat his sister Diane's famous cakes and coerce his brother Butch, to take him to the casino. His constant companion was his dog Rye-Rye, who was always by his side and a loyal friend until the end.
