Anna Louise Deese, 87, a resident of the Wellborn area, died Friday the 28th of June at Lake City Medical Center.

Louise was born December 21, 1925 in Delray Beach, FL to her parents: Mack Dewey Deese and Helen Gray Deese. She graduated from Delray Beach High School in 1943 and continued her education by attending and earning a BA degree in Art Education from Florida State College for Women (FSU), Tallahassee, FL.
Louise retired following a long career with Walley Findlay Art Galleries of Palm Beach, FL. After retirement she continued to live in Lake Worth, for a number of years taking care of her pet cats. In 2005 ailing health necessitated that she move near her brother on the family farm at Wellborn, FL.
Louise loved reading, walking, landscaping her property, family and her much loved cats. She was a life long member and supporter of Cason Memorial United Methodist Church of Delray Beach, Florida.
Louise is survived by her brother: Charles Deese, living in Wellborn, FL; her niece: Amy Deese, living in Mims, FL. She is also survived by one cat: Missy.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 1st at Mount Beulah Baptist Church of Wellborn, FL. Interment will be at McClellan Cemetery in Wellborn, FL immediately following funeral services.
A covered dish dinner will be provided at the Mount Beulah fellowship hall at 12:00 pm preceding the visitation.
