LAKE CITY, FLORIDA - Stella Elizabeth Litton Ring, 89, died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Suwanne Valley Hospice Care Center, Lake City, Florida.
She was born in Dante, Virginia; daughter of the late J. W. "Bill" and Monta Glenn Litton. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Lake City, Florida and a charter member of Clinch Valley Chapter Order of Eastern Star #152 in St. Paul, Virginia. She was a homemaker who loved her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also had played golf at Quail Heights as well as Lake City Country Club in Lake City, Florida.
She is survived by her husband of seventy-one years, Charles Buford Ring; two daughters, Nancy Charlene Ring of Lake City, Florida and Susan Ring Hasty and husband, Wynn of Colonial Heights, Virginia; one son, Charles E."Chuck" Ring and wife, Joy of Lebanon, Virginia; six grandchildren, Jennifer Hasty Aulgur and husband, Mike, Jason Hasty and wife, Tiffani, Jamie Hasty, Ashley Ring, Amber Ring Hancock and husband, Stuart, and Aston Ring; two great grandchildren, Emma Ruth Hasty and Baby Aulgur; one brother, Glenn T. Litton and wife, Vivian of Meadowview, Virginia; several extended family members also survive.
Graveside Services and Interment for Stella Elizabeth Litton Ring will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday September 15, 2013 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Preston Mitchell officiating. Fraternal Rites will be conducted by Clinch Valley Chapter Order of Easter Star #152. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
