Robert E. McCallaham

BALDWIN -- Robert E. "Nick" McCallaham, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 17, 2018. Born in Baldwin on Oct. 27, 1956, "Bobby," as he was known to his family, was the son of the late Chester McCallaham and Marilyn (Avery) Kisser. His mother survives and resides in Michigan. 

"Nick," as he was known to his friends, proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1980. He currently was working as the manager for Circle K Gas Stations. 

Survivors include his mother, Marilyn Avery Kisser, of Sanford; his daughter, Kathryn McCallaham, of Indianapolis; his two stepchildren, Randall Davis, of Richmond, Ind., and Heather Davis, of Indianapolis; his siblings, Sharon (Michael) Evans, of Millington; David McCallaham, of Brighton; Carolyn Taibl, of Whitehall; Nancy Nyland, of Thompsonville; Kelly Hudson, of Sarasota, Fla., Bonita (Rick) Foust, of Peru, Ind., Sandy (Patrick) Venezia, of Holiday, Fla., and Mary Beth Frizzell (Darrell Fenstermacher), of Baldwin. 

Family and friends gathered to celebrate the life of Robert McCallaham on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Daniel O'Riley Funeral Home in Indianapolis with full military honors provided by the U.S. Air Force.
