Kenneth Ham, Sr. of Rocky Ford, Colo., entered into rest Feb. 11, 2014 at the Laurel Manor Care Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was born, Aug. 22, 1934, to Kenneth and Velma Ham in Quemado, N.M. He was 79 years of age.
Kenny is survived by his children; Kenneth Ham, Jr. of Fountain, Colo., James Thayer of Las Animas, Kim Robinette of Ordway, Mike (Sheila) Ham of Westcliffe, Colo. and Jeff Ham of Denver, Colo. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister, Billie (Al) Robison of Calif., brother Dale (Diane) Ham of Rocky Ford.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Velma Ham.
Kenny served his country in the Army and was a Korean War
Veteran. He was a barber in Rocky Ford for many years, then worked for Citizen Utilities of La Junta. After retirement, he returned to barbering.
Kenny enjoyed family and friends, gardening, the outdoors and yard sales. He was a lifetime Mason.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Mon., Feb. 24, 2014 at the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home in La Junta, 921 Colorado Ave. followed by a burial in Bristol, Colo. at 2 p.m.
