Funeral services for Holly, Colorado resident, June Ardelle Allison will be held at 3 p.m. on Tue., Feb. 25, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Holly, Colo. with Rev. Ralph Plummer officiating. |
Burial will follow in the Hartman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Mon., Feb. 24, 2014 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly.
June Ardelle (Eastburn) Allison was born on June 9, 1925 in Arnold, Neb. to George and Ollie (Parkhurst) Eastburn. She passed away on Feb. 18, 2014 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar, Colo. at the age of 88.
June was a contortionist and performed at the Republican and Democratic Conventions. She enjoyed singing and dancing. June was a member of the First Baptist Church and Rebekah Lodge.
June is survived by her children, David Defino of Calif., Barbara "Bobbie" Stephens Suarez and husband, Xavier of Las Vegas, Nev., Marshall Allison of Whittier, Calif., and Paul Allison of Holly, Colo.; four grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ollie Eastburn; daughter, Diane Defino; and an infant sister.
