Mary I. Cuntz

Mary finally lost her long battle with dementia on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013. Maria Ignacia Troncoso was born to Sebastian and Juliana Troncoso on Feb. 13, 1931 in Tome, NM, and lived her early years in Albuquerque. She was a kind and giving person who was loved by all who knew her. Her mother-in-law Chris was her special friend and they spent many happy hours together doing things they both loved. Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother; an older half-brother Manuel Flores; a younger brother Sebastian Troncoso, Jr.; and her very special little boy Carl Naranjo. She is survived by her spouse Carl. They were married in New Orleans, LA, in 1958 and returned to New Mexico in 1959. Other survivors include her two sisters Conception Reed and Theresa Armendariz and husband Manuel; and many nieces and nephews. Mary worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory for many years. She and her husband have been living in Albuquerque since 1999.
