Naomi C. Gibson Bowler, of Los Alamos, NM, left this earth to be with her Lord on March 3, 2014. Naomi Gibson was born April 16, 1937 in Farmington, NM. She graduated from Santa Fe High school, and worked at Los Alamos National Lab for many years. Naomi Gibson married Albert Bowler, and together they raised three children, and later adopted their grandchild. Naomi was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to nine children. She participated in many charities, community groups, and bible studies.
Those that knew Naomi called her friend. She spread the love of Christ wherever she went. She believed in extending a hand of service, to anyone in need. She is preceded in death, by her husband Albert Bowler, her brother, Robert Gibson, and her daughter, Julie Hunter. She is survived by her two sons James and John Bowler, her adopted daughter April-Dawn Pease (and family), sister Vicki Masso (and family), grandson Clyde Hunter (and family), and grandson Jeremy Hunter.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice, or pay forward the Christ-like love that Naomi so willingly gave, in her memory.
All are welcome to celebrate her life, and memory. Memorial services will be held at White Rock Baptist Church, on March 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.
