Teresa Kelley went to meet her maker on July 9, 2012. She was born on July 4, 1917 to Joseph and Theresa Szautner and grew up in Flint, Mich. On June 28, 1941 she married Bill Kelley.
Teresa was trained as a nurse and worked in that capacity in Flint and later in Los Alamos when the family moved west. She later gave up nursing and worked for the Laboratory until her retirement in 1977. Upon retirement, Teresa and Bill moved to San Antonio, Texas where they spent the rest of their lives. Teresa found great enjoyment in square dancing, traveling, and baking chocolate chip cookies. She was a devoted and generous mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Teresa was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Bill Kelley. She is survived by her three children Thomas Kelley (and wife Marlene), Patricia Cravey, and James Kelley (and wife Francella), four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
A rosary was said at St. Brigid's Catholic Church in San Antonio which was followed by a funeral mass.
